Data protection statement

Thank you for your interest in Sirius Facilities GmbH. Protecting your personal data is important to us, and this statement specifies the measures we take in order to do this. We comply with the German data protection and online information acts, and all other relevant laws. These provisions apply to,,, and all other websites and domains which we operate.

Protected data

Section 3.1 of the German data protection act defines protected data as personal or business information concerning an individual whose identity is either known or can be established, such as their name, postal and email addresses and telephone number, and also usage data such an IP address.

What data we store

It is possible to use our websites without providing any personal data, but we may require it in order to offer you services, send you information, or answer your questions.

We normally obtain and store this information only if this is necessary in order to provide you with the service. We may also pass it on to third-party service providers such as transport companies, and will require it if you wish to do any of the following:

You will be asked to give your express consent again on the relevant pages of our website. If we no longer need your details after this, we will block them so that they cannot be accessed, and delete them after any retention period laid down for tax and other legal purposes, unless you have specifically allowed us to keep them for longer.

Google Analytics

Our website uses Google Analytics, which uses cookies, text files stored on your computer, to analyse your use of our site. It includes such information as your operating system, browser, IP address, referrer URL (the last site you visited), and the date and time of your visit. These details are stored on a Google server in the United States, and Google uses them to provide website activity reports for site operators and other services relating to internet usage. It will pass on this information to third parties where required by law to do so, or where they process the data on its behalf. The data is used on an anonymous or pseudonymous basis. For more information, click here.

DoubleClick DART cookies

Google uses DART cookies to track your internet usage. To find out how to deactivate these, click here.

The cookies do not store any personal data apart from your IP address. They are used to recognise you automatically the next time you visit our sites, and to help you to find your way around. They also enable us to adapt the site to your particular interests, and store your password so that you do not need to re-enter it each time.

You can also view our websites without cookies. If you do not want to be recognised, you can change your browser settings to prevent cookies being stored on your hard disk. To find out how to do this, use your browser's Help function. If you do not accept cookies, this may limit your ability to use some functions of our sites.

Collection and storage of user data

We collect and store data, such as the date and time of your visit and the last page you visited, in order to optimise our websites. This is anonymous, so you cannot be personally identified. In some cases we use it to create a user profile, but with a pseudonym, so that we do not know your real identity and have no way of linking you with your usage data. We obtain and store this information using cookies, small text files stored on your computer and used to store statistical information such as your operating system, browser, IP address, referrer URL (the last site you visited), and the time of your visit. Again, this information is obtained purely to make our sites more attractive and improve your user experience.

Use of data for specific purposes

We use data only for specific purposes, and will pass it on to third parties only with your express consent when we need it in order to provide you with a service or comply with our contract. We will pass it on to government bodies only where required to do so by law or by a court decision.

Viewing data and withdrawing consent

You may view your data at any time and without charge, prevent us from using it, correct any errors, or delete it. You may also withdraw your consent to our use of the data at any time and without giving reasons by contacting the address given in the Legal Information section of our site. Please let us know if you have any further questions about our data protection rules and how we use your details.

The data protection rules followed by Google and others may change at any time, and we therefore strongly recommend that you keep up to date with changes in the law and individual companiesí practices.

Data protection statement concerning the use of Facebook plug-ins (Like button)

We use Facebook plugins on our sites, identifiable by the Facebook logo or Like button on individual pages. For more information about these, visit

When you visit any of our sites, the plugin creates a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook server, so Facebook is informed that we have received a visit from your IP address. If you click on the Like button while logged in to your Facebook account, the content of our sites will link to your Facebook profile, so Facebook will record that you have visited us. We do not receive any information concerning the data obtained by the plug-in or your use of Facebook. For more information, including Facebook's data protection statement, click here.

If you do not want Facebook to obtain and use information about your visit to our site, please make sure you are not logged in to Facebook when visiting our sites.
